Man... I am so utterly pooped today *_* so so tired. Been up since 8:40am ish.... and expending a lot of crazy energy doing taiko practice and auditioning. Our group was auditioning to be a performer at a really big school event, so that was intense energy. Hiya~ Just got back from a lovely weekend retreat with my taiko group x3 They are the best people ever :] Anyways, after seeing awesome OC tournaments like Law of Talos and Endzone, I decided I really wanted to go try one out, which is why you've seen my comic entry and character refs of the Factor L group. I just wanted to update my journal to assure commissioners (~Stalker-of-Neji ~BackstageSins) that I will get their commission done without fail! I am deeply apologetic as to how long it's taking me though >_> It's just that my classes + internship + personal stuff combined is taking up a lot more time that I realized it would *_*
And MAN, the annoying flashing ads are crazy annoying lol. Some of the ads around DA are actually kind of cool looking, but ouch my eyes when I see the bright flashing ones
Anyways...back to work >_____>;;; stupid communication design class >_> *sigh*

Belated season's greetings everyone~ and happy new year!! Here I am back from Hong Kong all jet lagged and stuff.
I have to say it is really odd to see my account not subscribed again. I see ads all over *_* it is SO weird! There's scary random eyes, and random ugly ads here and there >_> and meh, lol. At first I'm like, there's no real big difference between subscribed and unsubscribed, and in truth there isn't reaaally a diff, but the addition of ads and difference of my user page are disconcerting.
AND IT IS SO COLD BACK HOME GOSH DARN IT ;_; *frozen fingers*
How has everyone been this winter break? Everyone got their new year's resolutions?
I had a great time at HK, geez, I love it there xD The citylife, the transportation, the food, the weather, the feeling of not spending as much as you really are xD <3 Something random I noticed this winter season was the abundance of boots, lots of nice cameras, and a LOT of couples roaming about. Hmm... not sure if the last one's just me feeling lonely or if I really just did see a lot ^^" *ahem* anyways, where was I?
Ah yes, unlike others, I don't remember the yays and nays of 2008 but one yay is I drew even more than before~ but nay is my fall quarter grade. Apparently, my teacher says I didn't turn in my final essay and has currently given me an F for the class!! >O rawr >O So unless this gets fixed, I could have an F which is totally unfair!! Especially since I got all A's for my other classes DX!!! I COULD HAVE TOTALLY IMPROVED MY GPA THIS QUARTER!! *sigh* anyways, that's the only bad thing that's happened recently...
So... kicking off 2009! I hope I survive this quarter *_*;;; I have a really busy schedule made up of school, tokyopop internship, and taiko stuffs. I want a job, but I just seriously won't be able to fit it into my schedule at all, unless I kill myself in the process lol... we'll see = ]My resolutions of the new year are the following:
1. cut down on soda (max of once per week)
2. more animations/make demo reel to apply for internships
3. finish a project(Charon short, orphans animation, website, etc)
4. just draw more and more~
5. be a more social and nicer person
lol, that's all I'll say. I don't want to be too ambitious so that I can actually achieve this.

It's annoying the teacher wants to give you an F. I think people’s performance in general should be taken into account for grades. After all people do excel in different stuff. It's obvious your working hard and committed if your getting A's. Your weakest subject grade should reflect this and give leeway for your stronger subjects.
Say you get all A’s in everything /but/ French. It’s obvious you’re working hard, so the French grade should at least be a C or a D to reflect. It probably wouldn’t be best to give too high a grade, or some would abuse this system. But it should take into account for the stress and workload of other subjects. It would of course only apply to the lowest graded subject. Otherwise the reason for grades would just be made redundant. Argh I’m going on with myself XP
Those are some good New Years resolutions, I’m sure you’ll achieve them ^_^. And damn a TokyoPop internship, wish we had stuff like that here. There are no real Anime/Manga related companies except for advertising and the Neo magazine >3<.

hmm... there is a tokyopop in UK though. Not sure where, but there should be one. Maybe look'em up and see if there's something like that.

Nothing is Impossible, it's just highly Improbable.
She explained what were supposed to do, and we went and did it. Then she said everyone had done it wrong. However we'd done it how she said, she said ‘I didn't say it like that.’ Amazing how the /whole class/ didn't hear it right. But the head lecturer didn't listen to us when we complained, and we all failed, sucked.
I'm more interested in getting into the dubbing side off things with Anime. Unfortunately, Manga etc don't have recording studios here. All they do is manage there sales and advertising for this country >3<
